MUSICIAN
Fuji Fujimoto is a full-time electric bassist and media composer in Atlanta. She has film scoring credits for the independent short films “Tailor Embroidery” and “Get Ready with Me”, winner of the NEFT Vodka Advertising Competition. She is a featured artist on the Spotify podcast “You Heard Me Write” Ep. 4, for which she composed original music. Musical theater work includes Aurora Theatre’s “Summer, The Donna Summer Musical”, Actor’s Express’s “Lizzie”, and Alliance Theater’s “Once on This Island”. Fuji currently performs and records regularly with local singer-songwriters Diane Durret and BJ Wilbanks and has recorded bass tracks for other artists, including Donna Hopkins and Carly Gibson. Her album of original music, “Skyrise”, is available on iTunes and CD Baby. In the education space Fuji is a jazz band clinician for Pace Academy and has previously served as a music teacher/mentor for Fusion Academy teaching recording arts and bass guitar.
Fuji has a Bachelor of Music from Berklee College of Music and a Master Certificate for Orchestration for Film and TV from Berklee Online. Her film scoring tracks can be found on her website, fujifujimoto.com.
